Green gathering kids area crew info hub
This page is for activity providers and Kids Area crew only.
Hi Kids Area Superheros,
We have totally maxed out the Kids Area ticket & vehicle pass allocation!
There is a waiting list of lovely people who would like to join us, so if by any chance you don't need all of the tickets or vehicle passes allocated to you or your group, please let me know.
If you haven't already, please confirm the first and last names for tickets as soon as possible, and indicate which people are assigned to which vehicle passes, so they can be linked to all their passes at box office pickup and keep everything running smoothly. Any amendments to names or passes need to be in before the end of June please.
Please arrive before 9.45pm on Wednesday.
Mon-Tue-Wed Arrivals (27-29 July): Gates open 10am. Gates close 10pm. Arrive by 9.45pm so you can get accredited before 10pm. Enter via Gold Gate (vehicles) or Lion Gate (pedestrians & cyclists) and use Lion Gate Box Office.
If you need additional vehicle passes, you can buy on arrival at the box office, or in advance through the ticket shop by scrolling down to 'Add Ons'. Click there and options become available. A box will pop up saying they need an adult ticket to purchase the car pass, but they have a ticket from you so they can just click 'ok' and carry on :)

Crew shuttle buses: Running on a loop from Chepstow train station, carpark and Box Office. Timetable below.
If there is any risk of your vehicle getting stuck on onsite tracks, please have your towing eye accessible before you set off. Having to unpack to get at the towing eye creates huge stress and delay!
You may arrive before the whole plumbing system is fully in place. Bring water containers so you can fill them from the operational taps.
Save our numbers in advance for use onsite if needed...

Chris Flounders, Safeguarding Lead & go-to opperations guy 07712 142761 (let him know about broken stuff, worried people, bored crew)
In case we need to speak to someone on-site who doesn't speak English fluently, we're collecting a list of other languages our core crew speak. Including Welsh, of course, and also BSL... let us know :)
We have some exciting new activity providers this year, and lots of fabulous returning favourites. It will be a full schedule, and there are plenty of people around to help with setup, manage visitors, pack down, and tidy up. Please feel free to ask for support at any time, or check in with Chris or me if you are at a loose end.
There is now a shared Google calendar (below) to make it straightforward to jiggle things around, ensure we are making the best use of the spaces, and prevent workshops with different sound requirements from clashing.
