BearCat Craft Workshops
for Events, Schools, Community Groups, FunDays, Fetes & PlayDays
Crafts are suitable for children from 4/5 years old (with a bit of support and encouragement from a parent or guardian) up to early teens.
We have more complex options to make craft projects suitable for older teens and adults.
We focus on using recycled and natural materials.

For local community events, workshops are available at subsidised rates
from £75 per day or £100 per day with structures provided.
This includes materials, preparation & some advertising.
At some events, we also ask participants to make a voluntary contribution on the day
, which can be posted in our big blue hippo money boxes.
If we provide structures, the options available are
two 6mx3m marquees / 3mx3m gazebo / horse-trailer playspace.
We can also offer a ToySwap TeePee (2.5m diameter)
for families to play inside, toys may be swapped, or a donation may be given.
For single workshop sessions, groups of around 15 / 20 are great to work with,
though larger groups can be accommodated if there is sufficient space.
Some support from teaching assistants, parents, and guardians can be helpful,
especially those needing hands-on assistance with coordination or dexterity.
1 adult to 4 is a luxury, decreasing as necessary with age and skill levels.
Workshops at events and playdays are generally ongoing 'drop-in' and 'have a go' throughout the day.
BearCat Collective is a self-funded group of artists, professionals, and musicians.
We support fledgling community groups and local charitable events with low-cost support,
funded by receiving standard pay rates for working with well-established groups
and organisations with a budget for professional services.
Therefore, our fees are not fixed, and we negotiate on a dialogue of 'what you can afford,'
'what value does a project have to the local community.'
Suggested school craft workshop length 1 ¼ hours.
This generally fits with two morning sessions / one afternoon session in a school day.
The professional fee would be £150 for ½ day / £250 for a full day plus travel.
All materials are included.
