Complete a quick membership form, and for £2 a month per number (or £24 annually), you'll be entered into our monthly prize draw.
On the 14th of each month, we will have a live online draw. The 1st Prize will receive 50% of the prize fund, the 2nd Prize 30%, and the 3rd 20%. Winners will be announced on our Facebook Page and contacted by messenger & email.
Payment Options
The prize fund will be half of the membership fee for that month.
The remaining half will go to The Honesty Jar to help fund rent, utilities, and essential equipment for the project.

The Honesty Jar 50/50 club rules
Purpose
The purpose of the 50/50 club is to raise funds.
The money will be deposited into the project bank account and used to meet the project's funding needs. The Honesty Jar is run by BearCat Collective, a small, independent, not-for-profit group.

Rules
1. You will be allocated one number for a cost of £2 per month (i.e., per draw).
2. A monthly draw will be made with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize.
3. Please use 5050club, the initial & start of your surname, as your bank payment reference.
4. Payments should be made ideally on the first day of the month to give us time to contact anyone in the case of failed payments.
5. 50% of the monthly income will be used for prizes.
6. The First Prize will be 50% of the prize fund, the Second Prize 30%, and the third prize 20% (Rounded to the nearest £).
7. If a non-allocated number is drawn, a rollover will occur next month.
8. The 50/50 club is a private lottery open to all service users, volunteers, and friends of The Honesty Jar. Anyone aged 16 or over can join.
9. Members are encouraged to provide banking details to pay any prizes.
Alternatively, a cheque will be posted to their address recorded above.
10. Members will only be entered if their subscription is up to date.
11. If a member has no valid reason for missing a payment, their number may be sold to someone on the reserve list.
12. Payments must be made by cash, direct debit, standing order (preferably annually), or annual cheque.
13. The draw shall be made live online on the 14th of each month.
14. If we do not have your bank details, a winning cheque will be posted to the address on your membership application within one week of the draw.
15. Winners will be notified by email. Each month's winners' names and winning numbers will also be posted on our Facebook page and displayed in the shop.
16. The 50/50 club will be run by volunteers. Our committee's decision is final in case of any dispute.
17. Unless otherwise advised, a member will be deemed to have left the 50/50 club if their subscription renewal remains unpaid for one month.
18. If a check is not cashed or a winner cannot be contacted, the winnings will be placed into The Honesty Jar funds after six months.
