The Bee Shack is Honeybuns own little gluten-free and vegetarian cafe. It is very rustic and used to be a chicken hut. It's surrounded by our nature reserve with far reaching views over stunning Dorset countryside.

Lots of activities including try your hand at pressing apple juice, horse riding for kids, a raffle for a Bubble Produce Hamper, tours around the site and tea and cake for sale.
Last year was an amazing success which helped them to raise over £500 to reconstruct their barn, and hopefully this year will be the same.
No booking necessary. If driving please park on Ham Hill at Lyme Kiln car park and there will be signs from there.

30th July to 1st August 2013 - Alweston Village Hall - Music project for 7 to 11 year olds
Fact or Fable is designed as a three-day project, with priority given to those who book for three days. However it is possible to attend for single days. Please bring a packed lunch. Drinks will be provided. Suitable for 7-11 year olds.
Fact or Fable Music Project
A chance to develop fundamental musical skills, create your own music and have fun playing and singing with others. Led by musicians Kate Luxmoore and Lekan Babalola.
Kate is a composer and clarinettist whose experience spans more than 20 years in the music business working with BBC Radio and Television, Internationally renowned Arts organisations and Orchestras. She is currently a tutor at The Royal College of Music.
Fact or Fable will introduce participants to the enjoyment of group music making. They will be encouraged to take part in music games, use and explore their voices, harness their natural rhythm and movement and develop their musical understanding, creating a short performance for family and friends to see at the end of the project.
Dates: July 30th, 31st, August 1st. Times: 10 - 3pm Venue: Alweston Village Hall
Cost: £15 per day. £40 if attending for all 3 days

Over the weekend there will be lots of debates and discussions on a wide range of topics. Controversial subjects will be tackled. Leading speakers will inform, captivate, inspire, argue with, rant at and challenge us. Between or even instead of the politics there will be a diverse mixture of some cracking music. Many performers will reflect the exciting burst of radical new talent that is emerging. Some old favourites will be there too.

Starting life in Yorkshire, Sylvia moved to study Music at Liverpool University. She was principal violinist for several orchestras in the North West, including Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Orchestra, Port Sunlight Orchestra, and Warrington Music Society Orchestra. As well as performing concertos by Bach, Beethoven, Bruch, Mozart, Vaughan Williams, Vivaldi, Sylvia has given many solo and chamber music recitals. The musical journey continues in the South where she currently leads the Wessex String Orchestra.
Sylvia also performs with a pianist and quartet for weddings and functions.

As well as performing concertos by Bach, Beethoven, Bruch, Mozart, Vaughan Williams, Vivaldi, Sylvia has given many solo and chamber music recitals. The musical journey continues in the South where she currently leads the Wessex String Orchestra.
Sylvia also performs with a pianist and quartet for weddings and functions.
