Supper with entertainment provided, featuring traditional Harvest Festival and English folk songs by BearCat.

This year the Harvest Supper celebration will be held on Saturday, 25 October. The evening will start at 7:30pm, with a two-course buffet, followed by a raffle and then coffee, finishing at 10:30pm. The cost will be £6 for adults and £2.50 for children under 14, who are very welcome so long as they are supervised by family. You are welcome to bring guests from outside the village to join us for this seasonal thanksgiving.
Soft drinks will be served with the meal but, as we are not licensed to sell alcohol, you are more than welcome to bring your own beverage of choice.
As usual we hope our neighbors will support us with flowers, food, raffle prizes and helping hands. We all enjoy the variety of tantalising tastes from our combined culinary skills when the table groans with our home cooking. Please tempt us with your culinary masterpieces!

Dorchester Renewable Energy Exhibition and Forum to be held on Saturday 8th March at the Corn Exchange. Opening is from 9.30 am until 2.30pm and admission is free. Dorset Energized the website that informs the County about all things renewable is hosting its first Exhibition in Dorchester.
There is a strong line up of exhibitors who can advise on Solar PV, Biomass Heating, Thermal Heating, Energy Savings, Green Energy, Design and Sustainable Planning.
We will have the new Leaf Car on show and exciting range of new model Electric Bikes.
Renewable Energy Companies will be outlining exciting new projects across the County.
Our aim is to demonstrate the opportunities for strong Community envolvement in schemes to create local energy and reduce the cost of energy to people living nearby. There will be a continuous Forum being lead by local Hydro Expert Keith Wheaton Green where we shall have leading speakers talking about a miriad of subjects with lots of time for questions from all our visitors.
We hope that this will be a great opportunity for the people of Dorchester and its surrounds to really engage with the opportunities that Renewable Energy offers both in reducing the burden of energy costs and making a contribution to the reduction in CO2 within Dorset.
